Bomber Command
In order for us to be successful in raising £4.9M for The Bomber Command Appeal, social media formed an integral part of the campaign. To this end, we created bespoke Facebook Pages to promote specific campaigns. Twitter accounts that posted the sorties that happened 70 years ago and blogs that shared veterans’ stories. Just one highlight of our work was arranging for Stephen Fry to Tweet about us – which resulted in unprecedented traffic to the website.
